Her work is bronze. Her style is figurative. Marie Boyle’s influences are vast and diverse, from Michelangelo and Giambologna to Rodin. To portray an essence of the human character through the medium of clay and bronze - be it soulfulness, beauty, energy - is her enduring quest. Producing seemingly airborne art is the challenge she sets herself through her dance and athletic pieces.

Marie has work in private collections in Dubai, USA, Argentina, South Africa, Nigeria, Ireland and UK. Along with exhibiting at exhibitions and art fairs, her work can currently be seen at the Brian Sinfield Gallery in Burford, Oxfordshire and the T5 Fine Art Gallery, London Heathrow.

Marie Boyle is a member of the Surrey Sculpture Society, the Oxford Sculptors Group and the Bicester Sculpture Group. Her commissions come from both corporate clients and private individuals.

Marie Boyle comes from Dublin but has spent the last 24 years in the UK. She came into sculpture late and although self-taught, she admits her apprenticeship with the late Dorothy Arthur, Artist and Sculptor, was invaluable to her. She typically works in clay, casting in both bronze and resin.
